Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rad Dood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomasz Rzasa!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dood lands a jab to Rzasa's midsection.

Rzasa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dood was covering up waiting for the punch and Rzasa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rzasa wants to control from the top but Dood keeps moving.
Dood tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dood lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dood controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rzasa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rzasa has momentary wrist control but Dood slips an elbow through the middle.

Dood drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dood jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rzasa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dood is one step ahead there.

Dood makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rzasa is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dood is pushing down on Rzasa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rzasa is fighting to maintain full guard but Dood has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rzasa wants to control but Dood is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dood looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rzasa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rzasa is still in real trouble! Can Dood finish him?

Rzasa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dood wants to work for an arm triangle but Rzasa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rzasa seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dood moves into full mount! Rzasa won't be happy about that!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Rzasa shoots in and gets a takedown into Dood's guard.

Rzasa is sitting in close to Dood's body. Dood has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rzasa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rzasa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dood.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rad Dood!
