Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Nicitel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prusel Gammarix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gammarix has chosen Punttisali as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicitel wants to clinch.
Gammarix shoots in looking for a takedown. Nicitel tries to sprawl out of it but Gammarix keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Nicitel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gammarix shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gammarix showed some decent athleticism there.
Gammarix trying to mount his opponent but Nicitel defends it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Gammarix tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nicitel swivels and escapes.

Nicitel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gammarix looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nicitel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nicitel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nicitel lands a nice forearm strike.

Nicitel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gammarix knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nicitel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nicitel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gammarix keeps working.
Nicitel cracks Gammarix with a big right hand but Gammarix just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Gammarix wants to control from the top but Nicitel keeps moving.
Gammarix lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Nicitel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gammarix gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

and Nicitel counters by moving into the clinch.
Gammarix goes for a takedown attempt but Nicitel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gammarix decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gammarix is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nicitel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gammarix to the mat. Gammarix regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gammarix is bucking up trying to escape but Nicitel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gammarix can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nicitel has control of Gammarix's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gammarix regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gammarix wants to control but Nicitel is having none of it.

and Nicitel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nicitel.
Nicitel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
