Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between H Akeem Cerezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerezo scores with a decent looking hook.
Starr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cerezo as he jumps to the side.
Cerezo misses with a wild combination.
Starr is looking for the big counter here.
Starr has a takedown stuffed.
H Akeem Cerezo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Starr there as he acknowledges the shot.
That kick from Cerezo tenderised Starr's leg. Starr is trying to keep his angry face on.

Starr takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Starr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Starr will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That kick from Cerezo tenderised Starr's leg. Starr is trying to keep his angry face on.

Nice uppercut lands for Cerezo. That snapped Starr's head back.
Starr on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cerezo. Cerezo obviously looking to wear him down.

Starr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cerezo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Starr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Starr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Cerezo for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Cerezo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Starr fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cerezo is out of range.

Starr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Starr stands and steps away. Cerezo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Cerezo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Starr shoots for a takedown but Cerezo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Starr tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cerezo's elbow.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cerezo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

As Starr backs away, Cerezo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Still in half guard, Starr seems content to control.
Cerezo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Starr on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Starr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cerezo keeps working.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Starr dives in for a single leg takedown but Cerezo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Starr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Starr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cerezo defends well and Starr ends up having to push Cerezo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Starr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cerezo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Starrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

And that's the end of the fight!
H Akeem Cerezo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cerezo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
