Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hokyata Shinsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinsu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shinsu tries to close the distance and clinch but Knight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Shinsu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Knight swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Shinsu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knight paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shinsu feints and then cracks Knight's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knight down.

Shinsu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Shinsu is looking to get back to is feet but Knight passes into side control.
Shinsu is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Knight asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Knight in side control lands a decent elbow.

Knight lands some shots froms side control.
Shinsu is looking to get back to his feet here but Knight is keeping cool and he's managed to take Shinsu's back.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Knight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knight scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Can Shinsu hold on?! Knight is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Shinsu is trying to get back to his feet but Knight has full control of the position and if anything, Shinsu has just worked his way into a worse spot.
