Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldo Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Oshdimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Waldo Nunez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Oshdimer!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nunez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oshdimer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nunez somewhat.
Oshdimer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Nunez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No luck for Nunez with that takedown attempt.
Oshdimer unleashes a big counter combination but Nunez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nunez tries for a takedown but Oshdimer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oshdimer unleashes a big counter combination but Nunez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nunez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nunez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Oshdimer goes for a takedown attempt but Nunez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nunez dives in for a single leg takedown but Oshdimer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nunez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oshdimer defends it nicely.
No luck for Nunez with that takedown attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Nunez dives in and grabs Oshdimer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oshdimer pushes down on Nunez's head and hops out.

Nunez shoots in and bounces Oshdimer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

and Oshdimer counters with a big head kick but Nunez shrugs it off.

Nunez dives in for a single leg takedown but Oshdimer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Nunez closes the distance and clinches up with Oshdimer, looking for a takedown. Nunez pushes Oshdimer against the cage but Oshdimer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

so Oshdimer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Oshdimer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oleg Oshdimer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Nunez drives through and clinches with Oshdimer against the cage.
Oshdimer is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nunez is defending well for now.

Nunez is looking to control Oshdimer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nunez avoid being mounted?
Nunez is concentrating on defense, preventing Oshdimer from advancing position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Oshdimer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nunez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Waldo Nunez.
I think Oshdimer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
