Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Naomichi Miura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rider sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rider throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miura's waist but Miura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rider off to one side.
Miura circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miura takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Miura escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rider is pushing Miura up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Miura is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rider to keep the fight standing.
Rider tries to land a knee to the head but Miura blocks with his arms.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rider goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Miura dives in for a single leg takedown but Rider sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rider moves in looking to clinch but Miura pushes him off.

Miura changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rider fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
I wouldn't like to be where Rider is right now.

Miura tries to clinch but Rider moves out of range.
Rider closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miura circles away.

Miura misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rider .

Miura lands a good knee to the midsection. Rider won't want to take too many of those.
