Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moise Daouda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armand Holtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moise Daouda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armand Holtz!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holtz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Moise Daouda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A bone on bone clash there as Daouda blocks the leg kick.
Holtz avoids the body shot from Daouda.
Holtz thows a left - swing and a miss!

Holtz sizes up Daouda with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Holtz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Moise Daouda has been cut.
Daouda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holtz moves away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Holtz can do anything to dispel that myth.

Holtz is looking to stand up but Daouda isn't so interested in that idea.
Holtz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've been hearing that Daouda has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Holtz is looking for a sweep. Daouda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Daouda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holtz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daouda has managed to get both his arms back between Holtz's legs - danger averted.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Holtz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Daouda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Holtz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Holtz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Holtz takes a little break here. Daouda wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Holtz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Holtz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daouda is fending him off so far but Holtz persists. Nope, Daouda circles away and we're back to standing.

Holtz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daouda swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Holtz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Daouda dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Holtz tries a head kick but it misses.
Daouda is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Holtz cracks the inside of Daouda's front leg.
Daouda throws a body punch but Holtz moves out of range.
Holtz thuds his right hand into Daouda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Good leg kick by Holtz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daouda is looking to wear down Holtz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Holtz throws a nice looking combination but Daouda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I think Holtz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
