Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Von Erich (ranked 1124 p4p, 142 weight class) and Jack Morgan (ranked 1410 p4p, 173 weight class). Von Erich comes into the arena with La Grange blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Erich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side.
Morgan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Von Erich misses the shot to the body.
Morgan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Von Erich.
Morgan avoids the body shot from Von Erich.
Von Erich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Von Erich swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morgan throws out a counter right but Von Erich avoids it with no problem.
Von Erich looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Von Erich clobbers Morgan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Morgan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Von Erich manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Von Erich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morgan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A slow jab from Morgan misses its intended target.
Von Erich misses with a combination
and Morgan counters with a solid body kick.

Morgan misses with a hook. Von Erich ducked under it nicely.
Morgan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice straight punches there by Von Erich. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Von Erich.
Morgan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Von Erich was well out of range. Poor timing from Morgan.
Von Erich scores with a crisp jab that stopped Morgan in his tracks.
Von Erich falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Morgan counter with a right hand.
It looks like David Von Erich has been cut.
Morgan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Von Erich.
Von Erich swats away the attempt to clinch by Morgan.
Von Erich throws a left and a right that both miss
and Morgan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Von Erich! Morgan lets Von Erich back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Von Erich is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice combination there by Von Erich.
Oh Von Erich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morgan darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Von Erich's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Morgan before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Morgan!
