Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lexi Krasnoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank tries to pull guard but Krasnoo holds him up against the cage and eventually Frank drops back down to his feet.

and Krasnoo counters with a series of strikes. Frank will be more careful next time no doubt.

Frank dodges the punch combination from Krasnoo.
Krasnoo throws a right hand that Frank ducks under and follows up with a left that Frank also avoids with ease.
Frank fails with an attempt to clinch.
Frank looks to land a combination but Krasnoo avoids it well.
Krasnoo misses with a series of wild punches.
Frank is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Krasnoo.
Frank is looking to land body kicks.

Krasnoo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Frank, pushing him back against the cage.

Frank is trying to pull guard but Krasnoo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Frank has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Krasnoo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Frank jumps guard but Krasnoo stands there with Frank around his waist. Frank gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Krasnoo is trying to push Frank away but Frank has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Krasnoo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krasnoo content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Frank has locked up a guillotine! Frank's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Krasnoo is holding on here and Frank must be using up a lot of energy. Krasnoo has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Frank gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
