Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Owen (ranked 1288 p4p, 184 weight class) and Braulio Escobar (ranked 3125 p4p, 439 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen shoots for a double leg takedown but Escobar sprawls well. He's pushed Owen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Harry Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar misses with a hook
and Owen counters with a right hand to the body.
Escobar takes one on the button.
Owen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Escobar counters with a left to the body.
Escobar just misses with a punch to the body.
Escobar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Owen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Owen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed right hand from Owen misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen shoots in looking for a takedown but Escobar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Owen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Owen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Owen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Escobar swivels and escapes.

Escobar cracks Owen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Escobar has closed the distance and engaged Owen in a clinch.
Escobar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Escobar tries to work over Owen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Escobar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Escobar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Owen moves away.
Owen misses with a takedown attempt - Escobar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Escobar throws a shot from downtown. Owen moves away and avoids it.
Escobar darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Owen darts in looking for a takedown but Escobar gets double underhooks and turns Owen into the cage.
Owen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Escobar moves away.
Owen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Owen slips a straight right by Escobar.

and Escobar counters with a stiff right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Owen is defended easily by Escobar.

Owen is rocked!
Owen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Escobar moves away.
Oh Owen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Escobar counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Owen out cold! What a finish! Escobar is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
