PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wilburn Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Mason told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cummings gets a takedown into half guard.
Mason tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Cummings has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Mason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cummings decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wilburn Cummings will probably get the nod.
