The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoxa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Colon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hoxa smiles and moves away.
Colon shoots in looking for a takedown but Hoxa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Colon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hoxa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Colon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Cortez Colon has been cut.
Hoxa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Hoxa has closed the distance and engaged Colon in a clinch.
