Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haggerds lands a right hook to the body.
Haggerds stalks Shepard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shepard's face. Shepard staggers backwards, shaken.
Shepard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Haggerds darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Haggerds feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shepards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Shepard needs to keep his hands up - Haggerds had a free shot at his head there.

Shepard clinches up against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Shepard - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Shepard jumps into guard, dragging Haggerds to the mat.

Shepard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Shepard closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Haggerds's guard.

Shepard cracks Haggerds with a solid left hand.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Shepard's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Shepard lands a couple of digs.
Haggerds is rocked!
Shepard gets to his feet and stands over Haggerds, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Haggerds felt that one! Shepard unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Haggerds from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Commander Shepard!
