The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fadrny checks a leg kick.
Mulvaney looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mulvaney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fadrny paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fadrny closes the distance and clinches up with Mulvaney, looking for a takedown. Fadrny pushes Mulvaney against the cage but Mulvaney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mulvaney fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fadrny to the ground. Mulvaney is now in Fadrny's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Fadrny manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Fadrny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fadrny is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mulvaney ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mulvaney misses with a few strikes there.
Fadrny dodges the punch combination from Mulvaney.
Fadrny shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mulvaney throws a big counter combination but Fadrny scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Mick Mulvaney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fadrny shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mulvaney as he jumps to the side.
Mulvaney appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mulvaney is pawing at Fadrny, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Fadrny's nose. Fadrny is badly hurt! Mulvaney pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Fadrny tries desperately to hold on but Mulvaney is relentless in his assault! As Fadrny receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mulvaney away and this one is in the books!

In his post fight interview, Mick Mulvaney started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
