Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vitali Saromenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marco Senna!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senna comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Saromenko clinches with his opponent.

Saromenko gets control of Senna's arms and successfully pulls guard. Saromenko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Saromenko's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Senna is stalling here. Saromenko is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Senna seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Saromenko has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Senna is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Saromenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Senna looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
