Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve McKenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Borzov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKenna comes to the cage accompanied by My Buddy Steve - Zane Lamprey. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borzov shoots in looking for a takedown but McKenna manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Borzov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Borzov shoots for a double leg takedown but McKenna sprawls well. He's pushed Borzov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McKenna is looking to control Borzov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McKenna avoid being mounted?

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
McKenna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Borzov.
McKenna scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Borzov doesn't seem bothered though.

Borzov throws a front kick aimed at McKenna's knee but McKenna avoids it well.

The cut above Igor Borzov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Borzov's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Borzov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. McKenna moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Borzov! McKenna continues to tee off on Borzov, landing with a left and a right! McKenna connects with a right hand that leaves Borzov sleeping against the cage! What a finish by McKenna!
