Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Mendez (ranked 483 p4p, 80 weight class) and Jonathan Harding (ranked 1815 p4p, 274 weight class). Mendez comes into the arena with Angelito blaring out of the sound system. Harding has chosen Bitch School as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jonathan Harding enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Mendez does it's job there.
Mendez swings widly with a right hand
and Harding counters with a slapping leg kick.
Harding scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mendez checks a low kick from Harding.
Harding missing with a left hand there. Mendez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Harding throws a low kick but Mendez avoids it.
Harding lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mendez at a distance.
Harding with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mendez to score with a decent uppercut.
Mendez misses with a wild combination.
Harding fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mendez checks it well.
Mendez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harding.
Harding jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Harding looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mendez throws a lazy uppercut
and Harding counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mendez checks a leg kick.
Harding uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mendez.
Mendez throws a hook to the side of Harding's head but Harding sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mendez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Harding lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Harding slips a jab from Mendez.
Harding throws out a counter right but Mendez avoids it with no problem.
Harding scores with a jab. Mendez acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Decent striking displayed by Mendez there.
A punch lands to the side of Mendez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A clash of legs there as Mendez blocks the low kick.
Harding ducks under a wild hook from Mendez.
Harding with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mendez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Harding lands a really nice looking cross but Mendez seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Harding connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mendez momentarily.
Angelo Mendez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harding chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mendez staying out of range there.

Mendez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Harding moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mendez cracks a nice hook into Harding's ribs.
Harding lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Mendez sends Harding crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mendez is motioning to the referee to let Harding up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Harding is rocked!
Mendez misses with an uppercut.
Harding is still on wobbly legs! Can Mendez finish him?
Mendez misses with a few strikes there.
Harding is holding his hands too far apart here. Mendez throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Harding is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
