Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pascal Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kung Fu!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu misses with a wild body shot.
Perez wants to clinch up but Fu keeps it at a distance.
Fu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Perez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fu!
Perez content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Perez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fu keeps working.
Fu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perez decides to stand back up. Perez steps back and let's Fu get back to his feet.
Fu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fu connects with a jab.
Perez misses with a head kick.
Fu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Perez appears to be looking for a big counter.
Fu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Perez.
Perez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fu. That one must have hurt.
Fu scoring well with a low kick there.

Perez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fu to the ground. Perez is now in Fu's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perez is one step ahead there.

Perez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Perez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Fu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Perez controls the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Perez misses with a combination
and Fu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Perez shoots in but Fu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fu stuffs the takedown attempt from Perez. Perez gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Perez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Good leg kick by Fu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fu cracks the inside of Perez's front leg.
Fu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Perez.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pascal Perez will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fu tries to sprawl but Perez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Perez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fu holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Perez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Perez pushes Fu up against the cage in a clinch.
Perez tries to circle away but Fu has him pinned against the cage.
Fu can't find room to land a body shot as Perez controls the action.
Perez is trying to break the clinch but Fu is controlling him.
Fu lands a knee to the body.

Fu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fu moves into the clinch.
Fu dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Perez is stalling here.

Perez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fu misses with a body shot.
Perez attempts a counter takedown but Fu avoids it well and moves away.
Kung Fu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As Fu looks to move away, Perez throws a big counter combo but Fu just gets out of the way.

A nice leg kick lands there from Fu.
Perez wants to clinch.
Fu lands a head kick. Perez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kung Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fu throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Perez's head.
Perez has his takedown stuffed
and Fu counters with a series of strikes. Perez will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fu lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Perez goes down and covers up as Fu starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
