And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goliath looks for a takedown but Rush sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goliath.
David Goliath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goliath is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rush sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rush tries to counter with a takedown but Goliath is quick to defend against it.
Leigh Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Goliath.
Rush drives through and clinches with Goliath against the cage.
Goliath jumps guard but Rush turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Rush misses with an elbow over the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goliath prevents Rush from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Goliath passes Rush's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Goliath is stalling here. Rush is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Goliath seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rush has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rush has control of an arm but Goliath manages to advance to Rush's back!

Goliath is controlling the position but Rush somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rush continues to stall.
Rush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Goliath in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rush tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Goliath!
