The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore tries to keep at a distance but Land has taken the fight into the clinch.
Land with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Land is trying to pull guard but Moore turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Land successfully pulls guard.
Moore postures up.
Moore controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Land is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Land is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Land looking for a sweep. Not yet Land, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore trying to control but Land is working from the bottom.
Moore's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Land wants to clinch.
Land fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moore avoids it really well and circles away.
Moore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Land unleashes a big counter combination but Moore bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moore slaps away a takedown attempt from Land, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Haywood Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ire Land.
Moore keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Moore throws a big counter combination but Land scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Land is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moore sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Land closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Land with the ground and pound but Moore regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Land accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Land chips away with some ground and pound.
Land with a nice head shot there.
Land makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Land wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
Land is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Land throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Land forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ire Land dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Moore leaves Land with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Moore looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Land misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Land looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moore is fending him off so far but Land persists. Nope, Moore circles away and we're back to standing.
Moore appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Haywood Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ire Land.
Moore slips a jab and a cross from Land.
Moore throws a counter high kick but Land was just alert enough to avoid it.

Land shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moore is trying to defend but Land finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Land is looking to stall in half guard but Moore is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Land taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!
