McKenney has chosen Releaser as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawson feints and as McKenney raises his hands in defense, Dawson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

McKenney has his foot on Dawson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dawson works his way back into a safe position though.
Dawson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dawson looking to sit in guard and control but McKenney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

McKenney sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Dawson striking off his back but it's not causing McKenney any problems.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dawson keeping moving, preventing McKenney from controlling successfully.
McKenney is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

McKenney throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dawson has his hands clasped together but McKenney breaks the hold and Dawson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by McKenney!
