Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Chimaera (ranked 674 p4p, 17 weight class) and Beast Putin (ranked 999 p4p, 29 weight class). Chimaera comes to the cage accompanied by The Vikings warrior spirit. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaera throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chimaera lets loose with a powerful body kick. Putin will feel that in the morning.
Chimaera looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chimaera moves out of range as Putin throws a body kick.
Putin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chimaera is able to avoid easily.
As Putin looks to move away, Chimaera throws a big counter combo but Putin just gets out of the way.
Putin digs a good hook to Chimaera's body.
Putin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That kick from Chimaera tenderised Putin's leg. Putin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Chimaera might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Chimaera has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Putin has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Well Putin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
