The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chmielewski shoots in for a takedown but Vaughn shows good takedown defense.
Viktor Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chmielewski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vaughn managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chmielewski.
Chmielewski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vaughn keeps working.
Vaughn wants to control but Chmielewski postures up.

Chmielewski is working to tighten is grip on Vaughn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Vaughn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Chmielewski is really squeezing tight and eventually Vaughn passes out! Chmielewski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
