Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nikolai is defended easily by Manelito.
Manelito looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

We've been hearing reports that Manelito has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Lenny Manelito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vic Nikolai.

and Manelito counters with a straight right hand.
Manelito tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nikolai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nikolai drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Manelito manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nikolai has Manelito in his guard.

Nikolai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manelito can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Nikolai has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Manelito should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nikolai has tightened it up now! Manelito should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
