Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guilhaume Prevot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Guilhaume Prevot has been cut.
Slater comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Slater.
Slater connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Prevot moves out of range of the leg kick from Slater.
Slater's coach down at Fight Club FC was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slater's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Prevot is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Slater.

Slater drops Prevot with a beautiful combination! Prevot stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slater is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Prevot counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Prevot is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Slater doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Prevot.
Slater keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Prevot looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Prevot is keen to just control but Slater is a slippery customer.

Slater kicks Prevot off and gets back to his feet.
Slater uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Prevot drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Slater wriggles free and stands up.
Prevot is looking to clinch.
Prevot needs to keep his hands up - Slater had a free shot at his head there.

Prevot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Slater.
Prevot looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Slater is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Solomon Slater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Prevot takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Prevot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slater but Slater pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Solomon Slater seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slater keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Guilhaume Prevot's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Prevot is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Slater stuffs the takedown attempt from Prevot. Prevot gets slowly back to his feet.

Slater tries to bum rush Prevot with a series of wild strikes but Prevot uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Prevot pushes Slater up against the cage in a clinch.

Prevot takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Slater scores with a nice right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Slater darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jeez, Guilhaume Prevot's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Slater lands a hook that stumbles Prevot back into the cage. Slater follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Prevot to the canvas! Slater pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Prevot has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
