Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira's entrance music is Get Right Witcha Migos. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ferreira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ferreira wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ferreira throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ferreira stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Ferreira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ferreira manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Ferreira's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Ferreira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Jones throws a wild body kick that Ferreira sees coming a mile off.
Eusebio Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferreira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ferreira's guard.

Ferreira manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Jones tries to clinch up but Ferreira circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferreira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Ferreira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jones wants to sweep but no luck.
Ferreira postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Jones drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jones as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ferreira screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jones! Nice submission victory there!
