The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffmann throws a nice head kick!
Hoffmann shoots in for a double leg but Jims sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jims feinted with a counter takedown.
Hoffmann connects with a high kick.
Jims swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hoffmann counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jims avoids the head kick by Hoffmann.
Hoffmann throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

so Jims counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hoffmann is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jims dives into side control.

Jims is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hoffmann looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jims gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hoffmann is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jims lets go of the hold and Hoffmann can pop his arm back in it's socket.
