And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atreyu Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakamura closes the distance and pushes Cole back into the cage.
Nakamura is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Cole wants a takedown but no success here.
Nakamura lands a good knee to the midsection. Cole won't want to take too many of those.
A nice left hand lands by Nakamura.

Nakamura breaks from the clinch.
Atreyu Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nakamura rushes Cole and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nakamura landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Nakamura breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nakamura clinches up with Cole and pushes him back against the cage.

Nakamura pulls guard successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nakamura utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nakamura pulls Cole in close to prevent any damage.

Nakamura bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cole's guard.

Nakamura's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Nakamura tries to stand but Cole is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nakamura not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cole trying to keep a closed guard but Nakamura is proving a slippery customer.
Nakamura stands and throws Cole's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The referee asks Nakamura politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nakamura prefers to stall for the moment though.
Cole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cole prevents Nakamura from moving into mount.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cole walks into a straight right hand from Nakamura.

Nakamura has closed the distance and engaged Cole in a clinch.

Nakamura's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters circle, before Nakamura throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cole's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Nakamura lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
