Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariano Watts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Smackma Bitchup!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitchup lands with a hook. Watts tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Mariano Watts has been cut.
A lazy left from Bitchup finds it's target.
Watts darts in and clinches Bitchup up against the cage.
Watts has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bitchup after a bit of a struggle.
Watts wants to take the fight to the mat but Bitchup manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bitchup breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Watts gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bitchup gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Watts is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Smackma Bitchup!
