The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heronzo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Franco's guard.
Franco looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heronzo is one step ahead there.
Franco is trying to control the position but Heronzo postures up.
Heronzo won't allow Franco to sweep him here.
Franco wants to reverse the position here. Heronzo has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Franco is forced to tap! Franco looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
