Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diocy Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pereira's choice of entrance music: Battery - Metallica. Diocy Pereira will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daniels sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pereira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Daniels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pereira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pereira tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daniels wants to finish this one by submission but Pereira is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Daniels.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
