Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nino Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algot Uggla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown's entrance music is Yer Killin' Me- Remo Drive. A fine choice. Algot Uggla has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nino Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Algot Uggla!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown tries to sprawl but Uggla drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Brown wants to stand back up but Uggla manages to pass into side control.
Uggla throwing strikes but Brown manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Brown scores with punches from side control.
Uggla is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Uggla blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brown.
Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Uggla's head.
Brown prevents Uggla from improving his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Uggla manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Uggla escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Brown stands up over Uggla, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Uggla has momentary wrist control but Brown slips an elbow through the middle.
Uggla lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Uggla controls the pace.

Uggla wants to advance to full mount but Brown doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Brown seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Uggla is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

Uggla is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Uggla wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Uggla is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Nino Brown will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Uggla is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Brown is looking to stand up but Uggla isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Uggla is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Uggla drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Brown is looking to take a break and control but Uggla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brown is working Uggla over with some ground and pound from side control.
Uggla is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brown has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Uggla is trying to get back to half guard.
Brown in side control lands a decent elbow.
Uggla looks to move to half guard but instead Brown has passed into mount! Damn!

Uggla somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Brown leaves Uggla with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brown attempts a counter takedown but Uggla avoids it well and moves away.
Nino Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Algot Uggla.

Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Uggla manages to avoid it.
Uggla stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Uggla wants it to stay on the feet.

Brown drives through and clinches with Uggla against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uggla is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Brown is defending well.

Uggla has hold of one of Brown's legs. Brown is fighting the takedown attempt but Uggla gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Brown looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Uggla puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Uggla seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brown tries to get to full guard but Uggla has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nino Brown dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Brown feints and as Uggla raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Uggla is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Brown is pressed up against the cage. Uggla has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Uggla tries to keep at a distance but Brown has taken the fight into the clinch.
Uggla is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Nino Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Algot Uggla.

Uggla wants to take the fight to the mat but Brown manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Uggla takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Brown is looking to clinch but Uggla is avoiding it.

Brown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Uggla, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Uggla gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Uggla has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Uggla is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Brown has Uggla pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Uggla manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Uggla has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Brown clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Uggla has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Brown has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Nino Brown is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Brown manages to reverse the position and now he's in Uggla's guard. Nice work there by Brown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Uggla is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Brown rolls with it to try and escape but Uggla cranks on the arm and Brown is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Algot Uggla!
After the fight, Algot Uggla was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
