PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamim Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benjamim Santos!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Allen as Santos shoots in.
It looked like Allen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Santos.
Benjamim Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Allen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Allen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
