Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aljaz Soderznik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Caplab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Caplab's choice of entrance music: Krystian Pudzianowski. Aljaz Soderznik has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderznik avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Caplab looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Soderznik throws a head kick that misses.
Soderznik circles away from the clinch attempt.

Soderznik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soderznik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Soderznik is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Soderznik stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Caplab throws a sloppy head kick

and Soderznik holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Caplab has had enough of the clinch but Soderznik keeps him there for the moment.
Caplab wants to get back to striking at distance but Soderznik won't allow it.

Soderznik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marcin Caplab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caplab feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Soderznik crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
