Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordolha throws a head kick but McAodh moves out of range.
McAodh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McAodh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

McAodh shoots in and gets a takedown into Cordolha's guard.

Cordolha has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. McAodh has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
McAodh gets underhooks to prevent Cordolha's takedown attempt.
Cordolha looking to throw knees to the head but McAodh is blocking nicely.

McAodh has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cordolha is trying to keep an underhook but McAodh manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cordolha wants to control but McAodh is keeping busy.

McAodh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McAodh is sitting in close to Cordolha's body. Cordolha has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McAodh is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McAodh is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cordolha.
