Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Fagaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brendan Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duff has chosen Determined by Mudvayne as his entrance music. Brendan Duff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fagaro moves out of range as Duff strikes.
A low kick from Duff misses
and Fagaro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fagaro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A lazy left from Duff finds it's target.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fagaro.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fagaro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fagaro shoots in looking for a takedown. Duff tries to sprawl out of it but Fagaro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters circle momentarily. Fagaro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fagaro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A swing and a miss from Duff.
Duff throws a hook but Fagaro avoids it easily.
Duff bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fagaro's head.
Fagaro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fagaro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fagaro lands in his opponent's guard.

Duff manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fagaro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duff sprawls well. Duff wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fagaro gets slowly back to his feet.

Duff misses with a straight left.
Fagaro shoots in for a takedown but Duff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Duff is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Fagaro takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Duff is looking to regain half guard here but Fagaro keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fagaro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duff is just riding it out for now. Fagaro eventually gives up the hold.
Fagaro wants to take a breather but Duff is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brendan Duff will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Duff must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fagaro is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. Duff has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done Duff! He waited for his chance and took it!
