Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chadwick Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Boyka. Yuri Boyka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammond closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boyka did well to prevent Hammond getting side control.
Boyka wants to control the action here but instead Hammond manages to pass to full mount!

Hammond is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Boyka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Boyka tries to hold on but Hammond pushes him away.

Hammond goes for an armbar but Boyka turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Boyka.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hammond dives in and grabs Boyka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boyka pushes down on Hammond's head and hops out.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Boyka enables Hammond to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boyka manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
