Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josef Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall has chosen Promentory as his entrance music. Dave Randall looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josef Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Randall!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch but Randall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Randall works over Frost's head and body with a nice combination.
Frost slaps away a takedown attempt from Randall, before circling back to the center of the mat.
An attempted straight right counter from Frost misses the target.

Randall instigates a clinch.
Randall throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Frost blocks it with crossed arms.
Randall avoiding damage as Frost throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Randall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Frost.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Frost for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Randall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Frost off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Randall throws a jab but it's blocked by Frost.
It looked like Frost was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Frost shoots in looking for a takedown. Randall tries to sprawl out of it but Frost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Randall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Randall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Frost defends well and Randall ends up having to push Frost into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Frost shoots in for a takedown but Randall shows good takedown defense.

That was a close second round but I would say that Josef Frost will probably get the nod.

Frost creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Randall sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Randall sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Frost takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Frost is looking to take a break and control but Randall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Randall throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Randall doesn't manage to clinch there - Frost circles away.
Frost tries to counter by clinching up but Randall breaks away and moves out of range.

Randall throws a counter combo.
Randall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frost paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Randall looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Frost shoots in for a takedown but Randall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dave Randall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Randall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
