The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong looks to throw the jab but Bristow is out of range.
Kong takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bristow gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bristow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kong gets a double leg takedown into Bristow's guard.
Kong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bristow is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong trying to control but Bristow is working from the bottom.
Kong lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong throws a big right hand that misses.
Bristow is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kong is trying to get back to full guard.

Bristow is trying to control. Kong wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bristow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kong gets full guard.
Kong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bristow manages to get himself to full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kong's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kong stands up over Bristow, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bristow is rocked!

Oh Bristow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kong loads up on a big left hand. Bristow felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kong looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bristow can't hide his disappointment, as Kong celebrates the victory.
