Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green has chosen Humble as his entrance music. Jeff Green is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tommy Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jeff Green!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters tries to clinch but Green moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Green or perhaps it was just good defense by Masters, which made it look bad.
Masters is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Green.

Masters clinches up against the cage.
Green tries to pull guard but Masters won't allow it.
Masters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Green walks away with a smile on his face. Masters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Masters fails with an attempt to clinch.
Green is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Masters darts in and clinches Green up against the cage.

Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Green looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Masters is controlling him.

Masters is looking to work some ground and pound but Green has wrist control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Masters drops back looking for a leg! Green is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Green manages to kick Masters off! Masters jumps back into Green's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Masters wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Green shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masters pinned against the cage. Masters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Masters tries to close the distance and clinch but Green swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Despite the aggression on Green's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Masters has taken the fight to the clinch.
Green fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Green lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Green.
Tommy Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Green avoids a punch combination nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Green misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Masters is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Masters wants a takedown.

Green breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Masters tried to score with a low kick but Green checks it.

Masters tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Green manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Masters's waist but Masters gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.

Masters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Green tries to avoid it but Masters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Green to the ground. Green escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Masters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Green sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Masters somewhat.

Masters throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Green's waist but Green gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Masters off to one side.
Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Masters tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Green has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Masters avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Masters is looking to counter the offense by Green and move into the clinch.

Jeff Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Green has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jeff Green really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Dauntless logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
