Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
whitmore moves into the clinch.
Beaudin is stalling here.
Beaudin scores with a shot to the side of whitmore's head.
whitmore has hold of one of Beaudin's legs. Beaudin is fighting the takedown attempt but whitmore gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Beaudin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with whitmore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Beaudin looking for a sweep. Not yet Beaudin, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beaudin throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Beaudin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

whitmore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beaudin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beaudin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst whitmore is controlling him.

whitmore trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Beaudin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
whitmore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Beaudin trying to control the position from guard on top but whitmore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Beaudin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now whitmore is on top in guard.
Beaudin wants to stand up but whitmore is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
whitmore pushing down on Beaudin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Beaudin tries to get to full guard but whitmore has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Beaudin pushes whitmore off but whitmore dives into side control.

whitmore is trying to get an arm triangle but Beaudin is defending well.
Beaudin wants to get back to his feet.

whitmore has an Americana. Beaudin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! whitmore is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if whitmore hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
