And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jabbar Omarov!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omarov throws a hook to the side of Griffin's head but Griffin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Griffin tries to counter by clinching up but Omarov breaks away and moves out of range.
Griffin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Omarov looks to land a combination but Griffin avoids it well.

Griffin stuffs the takedown.
Omarov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Griffin misses with a hook.
Griffin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Griffin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Jabbar Omarov has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griffin moves to clinch but Omarov breaks away

and Omarov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Griffin won't be happy with that.

Omarov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Griffin is defending well. Omarov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Griffin has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Omarov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jabbar Omarov!
Jabbar Omarov bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
