The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omarov throws a hook to the side of Griffin's head but Griffin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Griffin tries to counter by clinching up but Omarov breaks away and moves out of range.
Griffin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Omarov looks to land a combination but Griffin avoids it well.

Griffin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Omarov has hold of Griffin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Griffin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
