The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fisk is defended easily by Salazar.
Fisk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salazar pinned against the cage. Salazar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clinton Salazar will probably get the nod.

Fisk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salazar tries to avoid it but Fisk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salazar to the ground. Salazar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fisk has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Salazar is on him like a limpet, forcing Fisk back against the cage.

Salazar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
