Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sung Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sung Cole has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sung Cole seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sung Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Parker!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Parker scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Sung Cole has been cut.
Parker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Parker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cole.
Parker swinging wildly here.
Cole shoots for a double leg takedown but Parker sprawls well. He's pushed Cole's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cole moves into the clinch successfully.
Parker works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parker throws a strike but Cole rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cole distracts Parker with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Sydney inform us that Parker has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Cole could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole trying to stand up but can't free himself from Parker's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cole lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Cole trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cole's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cole drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Parker dives on top into guard.
Parker wants to control from the top but Cole keeps moving.
Parker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Parker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parker wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Cole's closed guard. He's half up but Cole has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Cole pivots and extends the arm, Parker falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Cole! Well done that man!
