Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JohnnyB Butt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Anathema (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anathema has chosen Last Ninja theme as his entrance music. Damon Anathema acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butt swats away the attempt to clinch by Anathema.
Anathema tries to clinch up but Butt circles away and keeps his distance.

Butt looks for a takedown but Anathema sprawls well.

Anathema closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Anathema is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Anathema misses with a head shot. Butt uses the momentum to regain guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anathema connects with a nice short shot to Butt's temple.

Anathema stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Anathema closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anathema lands in his opponent's guard.

Anathema is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Butt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Butt has escaped and now he's on top!

Anathema had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Butt is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anathema Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Butt's back instead.

Anathema shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Anathema is working for a guillotine from mount but Butt frees his head quite easily.

Anathema manages to capitalize on a mistake by Butt to take his back!

Anathema escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Butt breaks Anathema's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Anathema manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Anathema takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
JohnnyB Butt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Anathema can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Butt is looking to escape.
Damon Anathema is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Anathema goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Butt is on top in guard.

Well Anathema has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
