Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherwood Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka has chosen Boyka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boyka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Boyka is looking for a sweep.

Small tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boyka wants to control but Small postures up.

Small tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Small has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Boyka has one of Small's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Small in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Small in side control lands a decent elbow.

Small is working to tighten his grip on Boyka's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Boyka has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Small is really squeezing tight and eventually Boyka passes out! Small breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
