The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Putin instigates a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ramirez.
Ramirez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Putin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ramirez misses with a hook from the clinch.
Putin prevents Ramirez from breaking the clinch.
Ramirez jumps guard but Putin stands there with Ramirez around his waist. Ramirez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Putin breaks from the clinch.
Conrad Putin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Putin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As Putin looks to move away, Ramirez throws a big counter combo but Putin just gets out of the way.
Putin drops Ramirez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Putin follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
