PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Comeon Hitme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hitme might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face Fisted - Dethklok. DeAndre Jones has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Comeon Hitme's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitme looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.
Jones tries to counter by closing the distance.
Jones scores with a jab to the head.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hitme swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hitme drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away.
Hitme walks into a left hand.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Hitme takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jones wants to slow Hitme down by chopping away at his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hitme scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hitme throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hitme slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.
Hitme thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Jones is trying to control but can't.
Hitme has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hitme is working for a submission of some sort.

Hitme is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hitme is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hitme throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hitme thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Hitme throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jones punching from the bottom.
Hitme not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hitme looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Jones throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Hitme throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely.

It looks like DeAndre Jones has been cut.
Hitme looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jones is rocked!
Hitme lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Jones quite badly. Jones pulls Hitme in close trying to recover. Hitme postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Jones on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Jones doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Comeon Hitme!
