Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esteban moves in looking to clinch but Espinoza pushes him off.
A quick step to the side and Espinoza tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Esteban rushes Espinoza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Espinoza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Esteban throws a half hearted mid kick.
Esteban tries for a takedown but Espinoza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Esteban drives through and clinches with Espinoza against the cage.

Esteban gets through Espinoza's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Esteban goes for a takedown attempt but Espinoza pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Esteban is breathing heavily.

Esteban tries to clinch there but Espinoza circles away.

Esteban shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Espinoza napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Espinoza tries to buck Esteban off but Esteban is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Esteban is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Espinoza will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Espinoza tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Esteban wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Esteban is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Espinoza is forced to tap! Great finish!
