Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nickelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and carlos Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickelson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Escudero looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nickelson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Escudero has managed to free his arm - good work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nickelson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Escudero - the referee stops the clock and Nickelson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Escudero . Nickelson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nickelson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
